Only 50 gallons available per day for u pick and many people pick several gallon. The U pick patch will be open the following days in May: Sunday May 14 Mother's Day (6-9 PM only), Monday 15th, Wednesday 17th, Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st, Tuesday 23rd, Sunday 28th, Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th, Wednesday 31. Price for U pick is $18 per gallon. Only 50 gallons are available per day for U pick. (We suggest you reserve your day by paying ahead since U pick supplies are limited) Price for pre-picked starts at $24 per gallon, $7 per quart and $4 per pint. We do accept SNAP, credit cards and cash. No checks please. WV's sweetest berries dipped in the finest chocolate are available for $15 per box of 10. Miss Sunset Berry often hangs out in the strawberry patch. Feel free to call ahead to make sure she will be at the farm. Please talk to children, perhaps during the car ride to the farm and again upon arrival to the farm, about U pick "manners". Walk only in aisles and do not step on strawberries. 1. No stepping across strawberry rows because they are bigger than they look and you will step on berries. 2. Only pick red strawberries. If a strawberry has green on it, it is not ready. Strawberries do not continue to ripen after harvest. 3. Try not to eat strawberries until after check out (we know it's hard) 3. Enjoy your day at the strawberry farm! Image result for picture of kid planting sunflower We offer sunflower planting for children who are too young to understand the strawberry patch rules or simply get tired of picking strawberries before the rest of the pickers in their group are finished. Call ahead and we will schedule Miss Sunset Berry to help your child plant his/her sunflower. $5 per sunflower in a take home pot. $7 for 3 sunflowers.
